How to Apply for the AEDSuperstore $1000 College Scholarship
AEDSuperstore is a nationwide distributor of automated external defibrillators and related accessories dedicated to increasing awareness and education around CPR and AEDs. AEDSuperstore is located in northern Wisconsin and operates under Allied 100, LLC. AEDSuperstore is offering a bi-annual scholarship of $1,000 to eligible students. Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) occurring out of hospital claims over 350,000 lives each year, but still, many people are unaware of the dangers of this condition. Here are six other facts about SCA and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) you might not be aware of:
Select one of the previous six facts you were shocked by, previously unaware of, OR wished more people knew about and find a creative way to raise awareness in your community about your chosen fact. Then submit either a video, less than 3 minutes, or short essay, less than 500 words, which describes and/or shows us what you did. Your video or essay submission must include the following to be considered:

Guidelines:
To be eligible, you must be a legal resident of the U.S. You must be either a college-bound high school senior or a student currently enrolled in an accredited university. Please be aware that by submitting an essay or video, you are granting AEDSuperstore an unlimited license to use your submission in whole or in part as we see fit, and relinquishing any copyright to your submission. If you do not agree with this, do not apply for the AEDSuperstore Scholarship. Scholarship checks will be made co-payable to the selected student and the university of his/her choice unless otherwise noted. AEDs such as the Cardiac Science Powerheart AED G3, Defibtech Lifeline, HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P, Philips HeartStart OnSite, Physio-Control LIFEPAK EXPRESS and the ZOLL AED Plus are all examples of defibrillators that are popular among schools that you’ve probably walked passed a million times but never paid attention to.
