The CPR MICROSHIELD-Plus features a 2 centimeter bite-block/airway tunnel allowing the rescuer to perform proper CPR on children as well as adults. The one-way valve protects the responder, while the airway enhancing bite block helps keep the airway open during the head-tilt/chin-lift maneuver.
