How to Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for Cardiac Arrest Response

Place the heel of one hand on the center of the chest, with the other hand on top. Use your body weight to deliver compressions at the American Heart Association recommendation rate of 100 to 120 compressions per minute. Allow the chest to fully recoil between compressions to pump blood to the vital organs effectively.
Step 3: Retrieve and Prepare the AED
