Hi Marsha! To download data from the ZOLL AED Plus, you can use the USB cable that comes with the device to connect and download data from an event. If you are looking for something with more remote monitoring and within the ZOLL brand – the ZOLL AED 3 would be your best option – it has both WiFi and USB data downloading capabilities and remote monitoring options to keep track of AED status remotely! If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team at help@aedsuperstore.com.

It was supposed to be a direct replacement even though the part number is not the same however it does fit. Now I get a flashing red and a cannot communicate with battery from the unit.
I did not have this issue the last time I did a battery replacement.
How can this be resolved?
Thanks,
Tim

Hello Marsha – the best way to find out if your AED is still under warranty is to contact the manufacturer. However, we can tell you that the longest warranty in the industry is 8 years, so unit purchased prior to 2013 are most likely no longer under warranty. This doesn’t mean it won’t work – as long as you can still purchase fresh pads and batteries for the unit, it should still operate; however, you may want to consider trading in your unit on a new one.

How can I find out if my AED’s are no longer under warranty, the first group were purchased in 2006?
