Hi Ana! If you do not place your AED batteries in the device correctly, the device may continue to beep or not update the AED Status to a green light, meaning maintenance is still required. i have a question. AED batteries have to be placed in a specific order, What happens if you do not put them in the correct order?

Hi.
We recently ordered replacement battery packs for our units. Two of the three were backordered, but I installed the 9-volt battery into the battery pack, then installed the pack into the unit. I received a “7010” service code”, and the unit’s light began double-flashing red and beeping. Could this be a bad 9-volt battery issue? Our units are the “Defibtech Lifeline AED.”

If the AED is used in a resuscitation, do lithium 123 batteries automatically need to be replaced like the CPR pad does?
