What You Will Learn

The First Aid for Opioid Overdoses Online Training course will teach you how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, confidently respond and provide first aid until emergency medical professionals arrive.

Topics covered in this course include identifying signs and symptoms of suspected opioid overdose, providing appropriate care based on the victim's responsiveness, and using several types of naloxone products, such as Narcan and a nasal atomizer.
